What data we collect and why
If you write to us. Whether through the form or on WhatsApp: your name, email or telephone number, the dates you are interested in, the number of guests and whatever you tell us. We use them solely to reply to you. The legal basis is your consent and the pre-contractual steps leading to a possible contract. WhatsApp is a Meta service and is governed by its own terms, which do not depend on us.
If you book through Booking or Airbnb. The booking details reach us from the platform, not from you directly, and each platform has its own privacy policy. We use them to manage and invoice the stay, and the legal basis is the performance of the contract.
If you stay with us. As a tourist-use dwelling we are required to record the identification details of everyone who sleeps here — full name, identity document or passport with its date of issue, date of birth and other details required by regulation — and to report them to the travellers’ register of the Mossos d’Esquadra. Here the legal basis is not your consent but compliance with a legal obligation: we cannot refuse and you cannot object, and without this information we cannot confirm the stay.
Who else sees it
Web3Forms acts as a data processor: it handles only the technical delivery of the form message to our email, following our instructions and without using it for anything else.
The Directorate-General of the Police and the Mossos d’Esquadra, if you stay with us, because the law requires us to report the travellers’ register to them.
No one else. We do not sell or pass on data to third parties, nor do we use it to send advertising. We keep it for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and, if there is a booking, for the periods set by tourism and tax regulations.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies. There is no analytics or tracking, the fonts are hosted on our own server and the Google map only loads if you press the “Show the map” button. If you load it, Google may set its own cookies.
Your rights
You can ask us for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data by writing to lesametlles@gmail.com. Please note that we cannot erase travellers’ register data for as long as the law obliges us to keep it.
If you believe we have not dealt with you properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es), which is the supervisory authority that applies to us.
